The closest thing I found that I can do is write the midi how I want in FLS, export midi score, then bring it into EZ Keys, and record within EZ Keys itself, while clicking the sustain pedals on and off. Is there something I am missing in FLS, a routine/process I haven't tried in FL Studio? I wanted to ask before I bought a sustain pedal for my Oxygen 49 midi controller, and started messing with that. In this instance we can only recommend contacting FL support or refer to the fL studio manual/support forum how to automate/add sustain in FL. The editing of sustain in FL is usually done through continuous control (CC) data, and is only a function of FL and not the Toontrack software. The EZkeys software will respond to a sustain pedal if connected and played through a keyboard MIDI controller. I contacted ToonTrack (the developers of EZ Keys) and this is the reply they sent.ĮZkeys standalone/software itself does not allow you automate sustain data. Basically everything else in EZ Keys is able to be automated, except those sustain pedals. I tried recording automation manually in FL Studio while clicking the pedal in EZ Keys, and that did not work. I even tried the 'last tweaked tools' method, and that did not work.
